Recommended to seal wood surfaces including MDF and as a top coat for the Original Artisan Range. Provides additional heat resistance so ideal for table tops etc. A great choice as a medium for the metallic Frensheen powders.

Coverage

A 500ml bottle will provide a coat of approximately 7-8m², depending on the porosity of the surface

A minimum of 2 coats is required
Preparation

Surfaces should be clean, dry, free from old/flaking paint, oil or wax

Shake well before use

Pour the required amount into a suitable, clean container

Reseal the bottle
Application, drying and curing

Best applied with a sponge or brush

When using as a top coat, refer to the paint's drying instructions for time to wait before applying

For exterior projects, avoid painting in direct sunlight, only when the air and surface temperatures are between 10°C and 32°C and humidity is less than 85%

Do not apply if, in the following 48 hours, there is likelihood of rain, frost, fog, condensation or if the temperature is likely to drop lower than 10°C. This means that certain times of the year are unsuitable for painting outside projects - as a general rule of thumb Summer is recommended

Allow a minimum of 1 hour between coats

Curing time is up to 1 week in normal conditions
Clean up and storage

Reseal bottle after use

Clean up any spills immediately with water

Wash sponges/brushes in warm, soapy water

Do not store where the bottle could be subjected to damp, frost, freezing or high temperatures
