Coverage

A 400ml tin will provide a minimum coat of 10m², depending on the porosity of the surface and the desired effect

Thicker application will reduce coverage
Preparation

Surface prep will depend on the project and the desired effect - be it protective or decorative

Ensure bare wood is clean, if applying over paint, ensure it has dried

Ensure the surface is dust free
Application, drying and curing (hardening)

Use the product at room temperature

For best results, use a wax brush

Apply generously, ensuring the whole surface is coated

Smooth out the product as you go, working into any texture, carved areas or detail if using to define

Add extra for a darker effect

Remove any excess with a clean, lint-free cloth

Leave to dry for 20-30 minutes and then buff the surface with a soft, lint-free cloth for a sheen

Curing may take up to 6 weeks
Clean up and storage

Reseal the tin after use

Clean up any spills immediately with water and a soapy detergent

Wash sponges/brushes in warm, soapy water

Do not store where the tin could be subjected to damp, frost, freezing or high temperatures
